Jowar (Sorghum / Cholam) Upma
- Wash Jowar Multiple times and soak for 8 hrs – 12 hrs
- Drain the Old water and fill with new water. Add Turmeric Powder; Pressure Cook in 1 Whistle. Continue to flame to evaporate all the water.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add Musard, Cummin, Urad Dal and fry. Add Onion, Ginger, Chilli and add chopped vegetables (any vegetables are good). Cover and cook for few mns. Then, add salt, turmeric powder.
- Now add the Jowar, Coconut and keep for 2 mns. Add Lemon Juice and coriander leaves. READY to eat
All Millet – Lemon Mix / Tomato Mix
All Millet – Lemon Mix / Tomato Mix: (Millet Rice for any curry – veg / non-veg)
- Take any raw millet in a open pan / pot and add water (1:3 ratio) and salt. Cook until all water is observed. Use fork to mix well. It’s a millet rice and ready to use for any curry.
- You can use cooker also to make rice. (Low flame, 1 to 2 whistle)
- Take Pan and add oil- use regular mustard, cumin, chana dal, peanut, cashew, curry leaves, turmeric, garlic, etc… add the rice into it and (add Lemon Juice or Tomato Juice) to make flavored rice mix.
Any millet Chappati (Use Yarl Millet Flour )

- Take any millet flour and mix with regular Chapptati Atta (1:1 ratio) and mix well and make dough by adding water, salt, oil. Keep the dough rolled using a clean cloth for 1 hour. It gives softness.
- Roll as small balls and ready to make Millet Chapptis

- Take any millet flour and mix with fermented regular Idly/Dosa batter (1 cup millet flour : 3 cups dosa batter) and add water, salt as needed and keep for 30 mns
